This is a hidden GEM! The food is AMAZING!! My husband and I drive over an hour just to eat at this establishment. I usually get the pineapple fried rice and fried egg rolls. My husband gets the combination fried rice and adds bacon and also gets the fried dumplings. Truly a 10/10 meal. The staff is very polite and welcoming as well. Please check them out, you won’t regret it! I wish they opened one in Texarkana, TX

My Restaurant Review Chiangmai Thai Kitchen I hardly ever leave a review, but Chiangmai Thai Kitchen is a hidden gem that truly deserves recognition! I’ve visited this lovely spot twice within a week, and both times have been fantastic. During my first visit, my family was a bit skeptical and didn’t expect much, but we quickly realized we were in for a treat. The food was nothing short of delicious! Today marks my second visit, and I was pleasantly surprised when they remembered me by name and greeted me warmly. I stopped by to grab some Tom Kha soup, as I’m currently battling a head cold. They kindly asked about my preferred spice level and had my order ready when I arrived. Once I got home, I indulged in what I can confidently say is the best Tom Kha soup I’ve ever had the privilege of eating. The broth was creamy and bursting with flavor, providing just the right warmth to ease my symptoms without irritating my throat. Plus, the shrimp were massive and perfectly cooked! While the prices are a bit higher than other local restaurants, the flavor and quality of their food are worth every penny. This family-owned restaurant has my vote every time! And after trying every Thai restaurant in the SBC area, I’ve finally found my favorite spot! Thank you, Chiangmai Thai Kitchen, for a wonderful dining experience! -Nikol G

Looks quite new. The place was clean & has a modern Thai vibe. The server was attentive. I ordered my forever favorite thing: street style kapraw (chicken this time). I hoped there were more basil though. Originally, I chose level 3 of spiciness because they said they use Thai spicy level. After tasting it, I asked for more chili (fresh) - maybe that became level 5. If you like spicy food, 3 is mild (2 or 3 is a good start when you can't measure the level). The Thai tea was good too. Very thick, I can still taste it after all the ice had melted.

It's always great to be pleasantly surprised when trying something new. That's exactly what happened on my visit. The second that I was greeted by an authentic rickshaw at the entrance, I knew this place was different. The atmosphere does an excellent job of preparing your taste buds for great Thai food. There server was quick to get me some great Thai Tea. My order came out quickly, correctly, and well appointed. It was just right on the level of spicy. The place was very clean. I will definitely be back.

Delightfully spicy if you are into that. I ordered the ginger plate which is a 3 level spice. The waiter was exceptionally friendly and ready to help. The vegetables came crunchy and lightly cooked, but the beef flank was good and tender. I also had a reasonably corrupt black lager that paired excellently!

This place has been coming soon for so long, I was shocked to see it open. It's a very nice place! I was seated quickly and asked the waitress whether I should order the red or panang curry. She said the panang was the most popular so that's what I went with. The Panang Curry was phenomenal. The best I've had in Louisiana since moving from Georgia. I was impressed and wanted to lick my bowl when I was done. I went with the mild spiciness but you can amp it up if you want to become a flamethrower. I will definitely be back and am excited for my family try it. We love Thai!

We recently decided to have a special family dinner at this new Thai restaurant, and it was an exceptional choice. Although it was our first visit and the restaurant is new, my coworkers’ recommendation was absolutely spot on! The attention to detail in the decor is impressive. The entryway is adorned with fascinating trinkets and models, and there are even more captivating decorations above. The restrooms are immaculate, and the dining area is well-organized. The tables were pristine, and despite only one other table being occupied, the manager promptly attended to us. We ordered appetizers, which, like all the subsequent dishes, were served quickly after we ordered. I highly recommend the Thai Rice Soup, especially at spice level 3. The vegetable curry pastries were a delightful surprise and made for perfect finger food before the entrees. If you prefer a larger dinner plate instead of the smaller appetizer plate, just inform the staff. Our favorite, the panang curry, was simply delicious. Paired with both the garlic fried rice and basil fried rice, it was a fantastic combination. We ordered everything at spice level 2 to be cautious, but next time, we’ll opt for level 3 to suit our taste. The wide rice noodles with vegetables and fried tofu were also very flavorful. The manager herself consistently checked on us throughout the meal and took care of refills, even though we were the last customers and they were preparing to close. It was wonderful to end our visit by meeting both managers. They shared that the owners are currently in Chiang Mai, Thailand, and will return in August. We’re excited to go back and hopefully try some new dishes when they’re back! The excellent service and delicious food make me highly recommend this new restaurant to both locals and tourists. Give it a try!

Yes, they’re finally open. The vibe was chill, and the service was on point. Thanks, Adam! We got the baby corn – so good! Perfectly seasoned. The green curry with chicken & shrimp was ordered to one spice level and that was plenty! Not pictured, the beef noodle soup hit the spot, too. Overall, we were impressed. I wasn’t going to think much about a place that was FOREVERRR just “coming soon”, but now I think I’m the one who’s coming soon! (again)
